Help Desk Apprentice
We are recruiting on behalf of Computeam where you will gain valuable experience as a Level 3 Information Communications Technician. We pride ourselves on the support we give our apprentices, you won’t be left on your own to figure things out, we will support you throughout your apprenticeship journey together with your employer!
Role
- Resolve problems associated with operating systems, networks, software, hardware, printers etc.
- Service desk support– diagnosis of IT issues and supporting users remotely using remote connection tools
- Installation of new software and hardware
- Maintain and fix other computing equipment
- Assist in system upgrades and system maintenance
- Liaise with third-party suppliers such as Internet Service Providers and vendors
- Support with technology asset management
- Social media and website updates
- Supporting staff to implement new technologies in the workplace
- Working with a range of technology hardware -Android, Windows, Mac
- Supporting software development and implementation
- Supporting the use of database systems and Content Management Software
- Use of a ticketing system for task allocation/monitoring
Training
ICT Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification:
Your training takes place at work and NowSkills also provides live online, on-demand online, and 1:1 with your subject specialist digital tutor that you will have assigned to you.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a certification of your Level 3 ICT apprenticeship qualification.
The successful candidate may be offered full-time employment and the chance to progress to a higher-level apprenticeship or position in the IT team.
